Lawnmower Races

Saturday September 13th      4:15 pm

The ever-popular lawnmower races are roaring and raring to go.  Watch as these speedy lawnmowers race around the arena making dust and dirt fly!!  Cheer on your favorite lawnmower as the drivers vie for the coveted blue ribbon and prize money.  Interested in entering the lawnmower races?  Entry forms can be found at www.rockcreekfallfair.ca/entry-forms

Registration and staging - please enter at the Livestock Gate (beside the main gate) and continue straight ahead to the neighbouring property.  Parking is different this year.  Please pay attention to signage.  Please tuck in!  Space is limited.

 

Gymkhana

Sunday, September 14th  at 8:00 am

Watch riders as they attempt to weave through poles, race around barrels and eat some dust after jumping on a cowhide while being pulled by a horse!!  Have a horse and would like to enter the Gymkhana?  Information and Entry Form can be found at www.rockcreekfallfair.ca/entry-forms

Obstacle Challenge - Gambler's Choice

Sunday, September 14th     2:00 pm

Hosted by the Kettle River Horse Club

We will have up to 30 participants. This is a timed event, and each participant has 2 minutes to successfully complete as many obstacles on the obstacle course as he or she can. The course is specially designed to challenge the participants and horses. The course will consist of about 10 obstacles, each one is worth a specific point value based on degree of difficulty. Participants are allowed to do an obstacle twice, but they cannot do the same obstacle back-to-back. The participant who earns the highest point total is the winner. Western or English tack allowed. Ride or In-Hand allowed. Prize money for 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Over $400 dollars donated.

True North Cowgirls Drill Team

Saturday, September 13th     1:00 pm & 3:45 pm

The True North Cowgirls Drill Team, all the way from Langley B.C.! The True North Cowgirls are a new drill team, assembled this year, 2025, with ladies from many different riding backgrounds - barrel racers, jumpers, dressage riders, and more. You may have already seen them at  Abbotsford Agrifair 2025! Be ready to cheer on this high-energy group of ladies and their horses!

Horse Driving Event

Saturday, September 13th     2:15 pm

Fun driving event open to all levels. No entry fee (must pay entry to Fair), timed and scored but prizes for all participants. Judge/announcer Mahina Rose from Bedhead Homestead. Events include Cones, Rail class, Gambler’s Choice and more. To participate or volunteer, call Rachel at 259-455-2177

Vaulting

Rock Creek Fall Fair welcomes our local 2025 Vaulting team. This group of experienced and new vaulters have been practicing all summer to perform for you! You will have a chance to see some remarkable balance and strength as these kids and teen perform gymnastic movements on their wonderful team horse Heidi. You are welcome to meet Heidi in the barn when not performing - she is an impressive draft cross, hard to miss!​
