FAIR VENDOR COORDINATOR & OFFICE ASSISTANT
May 16, 2022 to September 30, 2022
The Rock Creek & Boundary Fair Association is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to coordinate and manage the Commercial & Food Vendors and Education Displays for the 2022 Rock Creek & Boundary Fall Fair. The main duties include communicating with, processing applications, and seeking new Commercial & Food Vendors and Educational Displays, vendor field set up and vendor placement on Fair Weekend. Other duties may include assisting the General Manager with coordinating other aspects of the Fall Fair.
This is a 20 week position starting May 16, 2022 and ending September 30, 2022 (some flexibility on start and finish dates), 20 hours/week at $18.00 per hour. Applicants are required to have reliable transportation and be available to work some weekends and extra hours in the 2 weeks leading up to, and including Workbee Weekend and Fair Weekend.

GROUNDS MANAGER ASSISTANT
July 4, 2022 to August 26, 2022
The Rock Creek & Boundary Fair Association is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person who enjoys working outdoors to assist our Groundskeeper throughout the summer. The main duties will be land and building maintenance including lawn care, weed control, irrigation, and some custodial duties.
This Summer Student position is part of the Canada Summer Jobs initiative and applicants must be eligible under the requirements to apply for this position. This is an eight week posting. Start Date July 4, 2022 (tentative – will depend on when funding is confirmed) and end dates is August 26, 2022; 35 hrs/week at $16.50 /hr.
Applicants must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of employment, must be a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident and have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
CAMPGROUND HOST ASSISTANT

The Rock Creek & Boundary Fair Association is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person who enjoys working outdoors to assist our Campground Host(s) throughout the summer. The main duties will be maintenance of campsites, including minor lawn care and irrigation and maintenance & sanitization of washroom/shower facilities.
The applicant may also be required to use computer software to review daily check-ins/check-outs. This Summer Student position is part of the Canada Summer Jobs initiative and applicants must be eligible under the requirements to apply for this position. This is a sixteen week posting. Start date May 16, 2022 (tentative – will depend on when funding is confirmed) and end date is September 2, 2022; 30-35 hrs/week at $16.50 /hr.
